Education

At Childspace we believe that children learn best through play. Most of the day's activities are child-led and are based around the curriculum of Early Years Foundation Stage, covering all areas of development:
  • Knowledge and understanding of the world
Exploring and investigating, designing and making (messy play activities / collecting things from the garden and talking about it / planting activities / cooking)
  • Creative Development
Painting / printing / music and movement / mark making
  • Problem solving
Reasoning and numeracy (mathematical development) puzzles, peg puzzles, jigsaw puzzles / filling and emptying / counting activities / matching activities
  • Physical development
Cutting and sticking activities / out door activities / indoor physical activities
